to all my family and friends at home who have stuck by me through this ridiculously emotional time in my life where i’m learning so much about myself and my wants and needs, and most importantly who loves me and who i’m going to keep around when things really kick off in my life.

Cody, Chris, Cassie, Stephanie, Jacob, Jessie, and of course, my parents and my cousin/brother Drew…you all are getting written into my will.

Hey my names Monica ! My tattoo was done with Mark Hoffman at Dinosaur Tattoo Studio in Waukegan, IL. My tattoo is my favorite quote from the book The Shining by Stephen King. It is my favorite book of all time so I figured, why not ? As soon as I walked into the tattoo shop, the atmosphere was great. Mark is awesome, totally know how to joke around and takes his work really seriously. Him taking his work so seriously really made me comfortable and let go of all the nerves I had to get tattooed. This is my 2nd tattoo and I can’t wait to get more from him.

hey guys! so, my apologies about the text heavy post, BUT i have a request of you….

i am asking that each and every one of my followers who sees this leave me the name and author of a book that changed their life (poetry or prose) in my ask, and i plan to read them all over the course of the next year (or as many as i can, and then i’ll keep reading the rest until i’m done with them!)

my best friend amy has me reading stephen kings collection of short storie “everything’s eventual” and the book the abortionists daughter. i’ve also snagged a couple david sedaris books to read while im at the beach.
